Trombones use slides to control pitch, so it can play GLISSANDO, which is something other brass instruments cannot do
Trombone is the best brass instrument
Trumpets are loud and noisy
Frenchhorn is hard to play and horn players always pop up in the orchestra
Nobody ever notices the tuba in a band
